Easy to make Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

In large bowl beat butter, brown sugar and sugar until creamy and light in color. Add vanilla, egg and mix. Stir in flour with baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Then add oatmeal, chocolate chips and walnuts (optional). Drop by rounded tablespoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees.
For Chewy cookies bake 8-9 minutes. For crisp cookie 10-11 minutes
