Suggest a better descriptionRemove casings from sausage and cut into bite size pieces. Brown sausage in large sauce pan. Remove sausage and set aside. Drain all but one tablespoon of fat.
Add onion and garlic to saucepan and sauté over medium low heat until soft and translucent, about five minutes. Return sausage to the pot along with the wine, broth, water, tomatoes, tomato sauce, carrots, oregano and basil. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered, for thirty minutes.
Skim off any fat that rises to the top of the pot. Stir in the zucchini, green pepper, tortellini and parsley. Simmer, covered, for forty five minutes or until the pasta and vegetables are tender.
