Suggest a better description1. In large bowl, combine 1 cup sugar and butter, beat until light and fluffy. Add egg; blend well. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup, level off. Stir in flour and 1 teaspoon of the cinnamon, mix until well blended. Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate 1 hour for easier handling. 2. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease cookie sheets. In small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons sugar and remaining 2 teaspoons cinnamon, mix well. 3. Shape dough into 1 1/2 inch balls, roll in sugar cinnamon mixture. Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheets. With bottom of glass, flatten each ball of dough until about 1/4 inch thick. 4. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 11 to 15 minutes or until firm to the touch.
