IN LARGE BOWL, whisk flour with salt.
USING PASTRY BLENDER cut in butter and lard until fine crumbs.
IN large measure, beat egg with vinegar.
MIX IN enough ice water to make 2/3 cup.
DRIZZLE over dry ingredients, stiring briskly with fork to make clump.
PRESS into disc.
WRAP in plastic wrap, refrigerate about 1 hour (or up to 24 hours)
LET DOUGH stand for 15 minutes bery rolling.
