Use dry white wine for the sauce, buy an extra bottle to serve along with the dish.
Add butter to the pan you cooked the bacon in and brown the chicken on both sides. Cook onion in same pan for 1-3 minutes; add mushrooms. Cook for 1-3 minutes and add the apple for another 3-4 minutes. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper and crumble the bacon in there. Add wine. Add the soup. Add cheese; melt. Pour mixture over chicken breasts in a casserole dish. Put the casserole in a 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes. This gives you time to cook your spaghetti. Garnish with more bacon and parsley. Serve with a vegetable.
