In cast iron skillet, melt butter over medium high heat. Add onion, cook 5 minutes. Nestle bratwurst among onions, not touching each other, add beer. Bring to slow boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook 30-40 minutes, turning occasionally until beer cooks down and is evaporated. Remove onions. Raise heat to medium high and brown sausages on all sides. Cut into slices.
Heat olive oil in skillet. Heat Pico de gallo.
If using crock pot, heat corn then add other ingredients.
Dutch oven, add all ingredients and heat.
