A family favorite, this dessert with it's light mint cake and icing combines perfectly with the fudge topping. Perfection.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare white cake mix according to instructions on the box, substituting 3 tablespoons of Creme de Menthe for 3 tablespoons of water. Bake in a 9 by 13 pan. When cooled, spread the cake with a jar of hot fudge topping. Whip the heavy cream until peaks form. Add powdered sugar and whip just until mixed through. Add 3 tablespoons of Creme de Menthe and mix a few more seconds until the whipped topping is one consistent light green color. (the liqueur is completely incorporated into the topping). Ice the cake with the whipped cream topping and refrigerate.
