Suggest a better descriptionSet butter out and allow to warm to room temperature. Per-heat oven to 300. Cream butter and sugar together (approx 5min). Lightly mix eggs, milk, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl and slowly add to creamed sugar and butter as you continue to mix. Fold sifted flour into the mix, and place the batter in greased and floured cake pan. Bake for 1 hour 45 min @ 300, then bake the last 15 min at 325. Remove cake and let cool for 10 minutes on wire rack before removing from the cake pan.
