a Delicious, quick and easy dessert
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Mix butter, sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon and baking powder as if you were making a piecrust (cut butter in with a pastry blender)
reserve 1/3 of the mixture
press the rest into a 10 inch tart pan with a removable bottom going up the sides of the pan
Arrange the plums in a single layer on the crust. lay the slices down to cover the bottom (tp look like petals on a flower with some space in between)
sprinkle the reserved mixture over the plums and bake for 15 minutes
while the crust is baking beat the egg slightly and then add the cream
Pour egg mixture over the plums and return to the oven for about 25 minutes or until knife comes out clean
cool and then remove the bottom from the sides of the pan.
