Suggest a better descriptionIm posting Richard Simmons recipe for french toast exactly as he has it in his "Deal A Meal Cookbook". I make changes to it, I leave out the sour cream, use a whole ripe banana and I cook it on a non-stick griddle instead of baking it.I also use eggwhites or egg substitute and use calorie reduced maple flavoured syrup. 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. In blender, puree all ingredients, except bread. 3. Pour into shallow dish. Dip bread into mixture until evenly coated, using all of mixture. 4. Arrange slices on non-stick baking sheet. Bake 15 minutes. 5. Serve, garnished with sour cream. Makes 1 serving.
