Crack eggs into flat-bottomed bowl. Add milk to the eggs. Whisk the eggs and milk until thoroughly combined. Add 1 T. sugar to the egg mixture. Add 1 t. cinnamon to the egg mixture. Add vanilla, and whisk once more. Heat griddle or pan to medium heat. Add 1T butter to the hot pan. Soak both sides of bread in the egg mixture. Cook the bread for 3-4 minutes per side, until it turns golden-brown. Drizzle with syrup and dust with powdered sugar.
