Suggest a better descriptionPreheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x5" loaf pan, set aside. In a bowl, combine the 1 cup of chopped strawberries and 1 1/2 Tablespoons of flour, tossing to coat and set aside. In the bowl of your stand mixer, beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the eggs and vanilla and beat until combined. Scraping the sides as necessary. Add in the baking powder and salt and mix. Turn the mixer to low, and alternate between the flour and milk adding it to the mixture. Starting and finishing with the flour. Fold in the strawberries coated with flour and stir until combined. Pour strawberry batter into your prepared loaf pan and bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool completely. Once cooled, prepare the glaze. Beat the pureed strawberries, cream cheese, and sugar until smooth. Spread over the bread, allowing it to drip down the sides. Slice and serve. Cover extras (if any) in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. Enjoy this sweet, Summery cake!
