Suggest a better description1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together the cornstarch and warm water until there are no clumps. Add the 2 cups whole strawberries, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, and ? cup granulated sugar and gently stir to combine.
2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring very occasionally. Once it reaches a simmer, reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and let cool. Refrigerate for 10 to 15 minutes before topping the cheesecake.
