Suggest a better descriptionRoast a whole garlic in the oven, in olive oil. Skin when cooked, and mash. Mix the mashed garlic with half a stick of butter in a food processor. Season to taste. Spread on sourdough or french bread, cut into sections. Cover with silver foil and bake in a moderate oven for 7 minutes. Remove foil and bake until top is golden brown. This much garlic butter will make three french loaves of garlic bread. What you dont use at once, you can freeze for future use.
