Suggest a better descriptionBrown garlic and onion in a little oil, until transparent. Add tomato paste and 3 cans of water. Stir well and bring to a boil. Add tomato puree, dilute with 1 can of water. Bring to a boil. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 3-4 hours. Add additional Italian seasoning or meatballs to sauce as desired. Sauce is better if made the day before use. Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
Can substitute 1/2 tablespoon each basil, oregano, marjoram and fennel for Italian seasoning.
