Cut the shortening in to mixed flour until coarse and lumpy. Add a Tbsp of water at a time, stirring with fork until a dough start to form. Make into a ball. Wrap and chill about 30 mins. Lightly flour surface and roll dough out to a circle. Place in pie dish and flute edges. If a baked crust is need for the pie you are making, use a fork to prick the sides and bottom of the crust. Bake at 425 for 12-15 mins. Cool before filling.
