Add potatoes to boiling salted water and cook for 4 minutes. Drain and let cool for 5 minutes.
In a 375F oven, heat a very large glass pan* for 10 minutes.
Mix the remaining ingredients in a bowl and toss potatoes in sauce*. Add to heated cookie sheet (they should sizzle).
Cook for 75-90 minutes. Turn the potatoes every 20-40 minutes.
*2 9x13 will work. You can use a large cookie sheet, but they are awful to clean. You will need an SOS pad to remove the burnt sauce.
*I let them sit overnight at this stage and they were fine.
