Adapted from Great American Grilling.
1. Preheat the grill. Wrap the tortillas in heavy foil and set aside.
2. Place the onions in a medium bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of oil and season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat. Place in the center of
a piece of foil. Fold the foil over the onions and seal.
3. Stir together the remaining oil, 1 tablespoon oil, lime juice and chile powder. Season with salt and pepper. Brush the steaks with
mixture. Place the steaks on the grill over direct medium high heat. Place the onion over medium indirect heat. Grill the steaks
to 140 degrees.
4. Move the onions around occasionally so all of the onions are softened.
5. About 5 minutes before the steak is done place the tortilla packet over medium indirect heat and warm through.
6. Rest the steak then cut on a bias very thin. Transfer the meat to a platter and cover with the onions over the top. Serve the
tortillas on the side.
Serve with Salsa Fresca and your favorite garnishes.
