A great way to serve summer peaches and other stone fruits.
Heat grill to high.
Coat surface of grill with oil.
Place fruits, flesh side down, on grill and cook 3-4 minutes until warmed through and evenly marked.
Heat the remaining ingrediants in a small port over medium heat . Reduce until sauce thickens (it will coat the back of a spoon) and discard the ginger root.
Arrange fruits on a platter and drizzle liberally with glaze.
Do not overcook the fruits. You don't want them mushy, just warmed through with nice grill marks.
