This becomes everyone's favorite cake as soon as they taste it. Especially good with cream cheese frosting.
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease one 9 x 13 inch pan.
2.In a large bowl, mix sugar, powder, and flour by hand. Mix in eggs, pineapple with juice. Stir in nuts, coconut and cherriesPour into prepared pan.
3.Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or bake cupcakes at same temp but for only 20 min. Cool on wire racks.
Original Recipe Yield 1 - 9 x 13 inch cake or 17 cupcakes.
