I haven't tried this yet, but it sounds good.
Mix cake mix, mandarin oranges and egg whites together w/mixer. Bake ~~at; 350 for 25-30 minutes in 9X13 pan.
Mix pudding and pineapple until well blended; fold in cool whip and mix spread on cake (that has cooled) and refrigerate.
