Sparky dip.
Cook bacon and save grease. Crumble and set aside.
Saute fennel and garlic in bacon grease until tender (no longer tastes like licorice). Remove from heat.
Combine bacon, fennel, garlic, sour cream, mayonnaise and black pepper. Mix and put into an 8 X 8 inch baking dish. Top with mixture of Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
