Suggest a better description1. Place the apple cider, orange juice, brown sugar, cinnamon sticks and cloves in a 4 1/2 quart Dutch oven or soup pot. Begin heating the mixture over high heat.
2. Thinly slice the lemon half and remove any seeds. Add the slices to the pot. Continue heating the cider until it steams, but do not boil it. When cider is steaming hot, reduce the heat to low and simmer 15 minutes, or until ready to serve, up to 1 hour. (The flavor improves the longer it steams.)
3. To serve, ladle the cider into mugs.
