Suggest a better descriptionSplit croissants and place onto heatproof tray or baking sheet, open.
Toast lightly about 10 inches from broiler heat.
Top lower half of each croissant with a slice of tomato.
Combine crabmeat, cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice and pepper sauce.
5. Top each tomato slice with 1/4 of the crab mixture.
Broil about 6 inches from heat for 2 to 3 minutes until top of filling is bubbly.
Top with half of the croissant. Serve with lettuce leaves.
Spread sandwich, if desired, with a decorative toothpick to hold it
together while serving.
Good served with: Creamy vegetable soup or a fruit and vegetable salad for
lunch. Recipe may be halved or doubled.
TIPS: You may wish to use the new imitation crabmeat in the filling.
