simple but very tasty soup
Saute onions in butter 2-3 minutes. Stir in potatoes and broth. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Slice sausage into 1/2 inch chunks. Cook in skillet until browned and cooked through. Drain and add to chowder. Add milk and basil. Thicken with a flour and water slurry. Season to taste.
