Suggest a better descriptionPreheat oven to 375. Prepare muffin tin with liners.
Beat butter and sugar until well combined.
Add eggs one at a time. Beat well after each.
Beat in baking powder, salt and lemon zest.
Add flour alternately with the milk. Beat just to cm index. Don't over beat.
Mash 1/2 cup of the berries and fold in with while berries. (If using fresh berries) If using frozen, wash them several times and pat dry. Will help not discolor muffins.
Put into muffin tin. Top with sugar.
Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and cook 5 minutes. Then remove from tray.
