YUM-O!! 4 very generous servings. Kiddos loved this one and it was quick and easy. Adapted from Rachael Ray recipe.
1. Preheat oven to 400. In a large pan, coated with cooking spray or oil, brown the ground meat, seasoning with salt and pepper (may want to add some garlic, as well). Combine cooked meat with the pasta sauce.
2. While the meat browns, combine the ricotta and Parmesan in a bowl.
3. Place the bread, sliced in half longways, on a baking sheet. Top each half with some of the meat/sauce mixture; dollop with the ricotta mixture and sprinkle with shredded cheese. Bake until melted and bubbly, about 10 minutes. Sprinkle parsley on top (if using). Cut into large chunks and serve.
