This was originally a "greek" dish to be served with rice.
The Mr. likes it with spaghetti
Saute the onions in 1 TBS of olive oil. When the onions get a bit smaller add the sliced sausage.
Takes about 20 minutes to cook all that sausage. We usually divide into two skillets to cook it faster.
Keeping onion in both for the flavor.
When it's all cooked we take it off the heat, squeeze the lemon over it and toss it with fresh basil.
Serve with rice or spaghetti and sauce!
