Preheat oven to 350.
Boil potatoes with onion until tender.
Drain and combine with margarine, cream cheese, sour cream, egg, salt and pepper in mixing bowl.
Beat on high speed until smooth.Spoon into 2 quart baking dish.
Dot with butter and season with paprika.Bake for 30-35 minutes.
May be stored in refrigerator 2-3 days before baking.
