Add first 4 ingredients to sauce pan and bring to a boil. Add flour and sugar. Stir well then add 1/2 cup buttermilk with 1 tsp baking soda. 2 beaten eggs, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp cinnamon.
Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes in greased, floured 17 x 11 pan.
While cake is baking: Bring to a boil 1 stick margarine, 6 tblsp milk, 4 tblsp cocoa. Remove from stove add 1 box powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, and 1 cup pecans. Pour over top of cake while still hot.
