A hearty soup filled with vegetables, noodles, and beans.
Saute the onion, garlic, basil, and parsley until golden in a little olive oil. Add tomato paste + 1/2 can of water and cook 5 minutes. Add 8-10 cups of water and all remaining ingredients except for the beans and macaroni. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Add beans and elbow macaroni. Cook for 10 minutes or until macaroni is tender. Serve immediately, sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.
