Orange chicken is made with brown sugar, orange juice, nutmeg, garlic and basil.
In a saucepan, combine the orange juice, brown sugar, vinegar, nutmeg, garlic powder, and basil. Cook over medium low heat; simmer 10 minutes. Dredge chicken pieces in seasoned flour; brown in a large skillet in hot oil. Place chicken in a shallow baking pan; pour sauce over chicken. Bake chicken at 375° for 45 minutes. Serve orange chicken recipe over rice.
