Suggest a better description•Heat up butter in a pan
•When butter is a little hot & melts a little add cinnamon, star anise, bay leaves, green cardamom and fry for just about 30~40 seconds
•Add finely chopped onions and fry until it melts or gets nice even golden colour for about 7~8 mins
•add ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, coriander powder, red chilli powder & mix well
•fry all the spices for more 2 mins
• move the spices bit aside and add besan
• fry besan for a minute and mix well with onion masala
•add tomato puree and mix well
• fry everything well for about to 6~7 mins until puree is cooked well
• add hot water, salt to taste and mix well
• cook the gravy for 2 mins more
• add paneer and kasuri methi
• cook for just about 3~4 mins more
• AND HERE YOUR PANEER MASALA IS READY!! ENJOY IT!
• you can have this with roti or naan too
