Preheat oven to 130 deg C
Line a baking tray with baking paper and use a dinner plate to draw a circle. In the middle of that circle place a cup with a sharp upward taper. (Straight if possible)
Place egg whites in a large mixing bowl and beat until they form stiff peaks. An electric beater will help greatly.
Add caster sugar tablespoon at a time, folding into the mixture each time and mixing until the sugar’s granularity is undetectable. Use a finger to check if uncertain.
Once added, continue stirring for another 2 minutes adding vinegar and cornflour while stirring.
Place the mixture around the glass, within the drawn circle and shape as desired, a mold may be used. Creating a well defined shelf at the top will make it easier to decorate.
Bake for 1h 15m. When done turn off heat completely and leave to cool in oven without opening door.
