Peach Upside-Down French Toast
Mix butter, brown sugar, water to make syrup. Pour syrup into greased 9 x 13 baking dish. Arrange peach slices overlapping on top of syrup. Place bread slices in a layer over peaches. Mix eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon or nutmeg and pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate 8 - 10 hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 350.
Bake 45 - 55 minutes.
Garnish with fresh peaches and pour syrup over slices.
