1) Drain the peperoncini, reserving 2 tbl. brine. In a 10" skillet cook and stir beef over medium heat until browned; drain off any fat.
2) Stir in reserved brine, the water, peppers, salad dressing mix, and oregano. Bring to boiling, reduce.
3) Cook, covered, 15 minutes. Stir in half of the cheese.
4) Serve on rolls; sprinkle with remaining cheese and additional dried oregano.
