Suggest a better descriptionCombine equal weight pineapple rinds and demerara sugar in a glass container with a lid. Shake to coat the rind in sugar. Let it sit for at least 24 hours. Randomly shake the container everytime you pass by it to help incorporate more of the sugar. Strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer and pour into a sanitized bottle.
