Suggest a better descriptionBeat eggs and gradually add sugar. Add cooled margarine and anise. Sift together pastry flour and baking powder. Add to egg mixture. Dough will be soft enough to drop onto pizzelle iron with a teaspoon amount approx. Prepare iron by brushing both sides with margarine. When cooking press iron together for a count of 12 seconds. Some machines may require a longer or shorter time.
