A delilicious poppy seed bread with a light orange glaze.
Pre-heat oven to 350F.
Combine flour, salt, baking powder and poppy seeds in a medium bowl. set aside.
Cream together 2 cups sugar, oil, eggs, vanilla and 1 ? tsp almond extra in a large bowl.
Add the dry ingredients to the sugar mixture alternately with milk and then ending with dry ingredients.
Bake in 2 large greased loaf pans for 40-65 minutes or until bread tests done.
Combine orange juice, ? cup remaining sugar ? tsp remaing almond extract in a bowl. drizzle this mixture, over the top of the baked bread. May drizzle the mixture as soon as the bread comes out of the oven.
Cool on the wire rack.
