1. In mixer beat sugar and shortening until fluffy.
2. Add eggs, bananas, pumpkin, and vanilla. Mix well.
3. In bowl combine flour, baking powder, soda, salt, and nuts.
4. Add flour mixture to mixture. Mix well.
5. Pour batter into greased loaf pan.
6. Bake 300 convection 350 regular oven 55-65 minutes.
7. Cool in pan 10 minutes.
NOTE: a one pound can of pumpkin can be used if you double the recipe.
