This tilapia recipe is easy, quick, and delicious! The slight hint of cinnamon makes it yummy and memorable.
Thaw unwrapped Tilapia in cold water. After thawing, evenly coat each side with seasoned salt, garlic powder, onion powder and black and pepper. Shake just a light coating of cinnamon one side of each fillet. Heat two tablespoons of canola oil in a nonstick pan over medium heat. Then place tilapia fillets (cinnamon side up in pan and cook uncovered until bottom 2/3 of each fillet appears white (approximately 4-7 minutes). Then flip and cook for another 3-5 minutes and serve with your favorite side.
You want to hear your oil sizzle when you place the fillets in the pan. Use a nonstick pan so the fillets don't tear. Fish flakes apart with a fork when it's done. If it's still pink, give it a couple more minutes.
