Suggest a better descriptionMix rhubarb and 1/2 c sugar and set aside.
Beat together shortening mix ingredients. Mix together flour mix in another bowl. Add flour mix alternately with buttermilk to shortening mixture. Add rhubarb. Pour into grease & floured 9x13 pan. Bake 35-40 minutes at 350•
Mix and heat topping ingredients to boiling point only. Put on cake while still hot. Put under broiler for about 2 minutes.
