Suggest a better descriptionRecipe by: Mom D Preparation Time: 1:00 Cream 1 1/2 cups sugar with the shortening. Mix the buttermilk with the bak soda and add it with the egg to the sugar mixture. Add flour alternately wi rhubarb, then add the vanilla and pour into a greased and floured 2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining sugar mixed with the cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. NOTE: Dark brown sugar can be substituted for the light.
