Suggest a better descriptionCook rice in water and salt for 30 minutes.
Drain and wash rice in cool water and return to pot along with milk and evaporated milk and reboil
In a separate bowl, mix eggs, sugar and cornstarch. After rice and milk have boiled, add a little to egg mixture and then gradually add remaining mixture and then gradually add remaining mixture to rice stirring constantly until thickened.
Remove form heat and add butter, vanilla and raisins. (raisins should be soaked for a couple of minutes in hot water).
Pour into bowls and sprinkle with spices.
Enjoy.
