Lay asparagus in a single layer on a foil-lined cookie sheet. Drizzle about 2 TBSP of olive oil on asparagus. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Roast at 400 degrees for about 15-20 minutes or until tender. Remove from oven. Add Parmesan cheese. Return to oven for another couple of minutes for the cheese to melt in.
