Easy hors d'oeuvre. I am typing it as it was given to me. I generally use boneless, skinless canned salmon, which comes in smaller cans, so I use more salmon and adjust accordingly. It is always delicious and so easy.
Remove bones, if any from salmon (none if using boneless, skinless, and that's fine - oz will be higher).
In blender or food processor, put gelatin, water, onion and lemon juice and blend for 30 seconds.
Add mayonnaise, dill, salt, salmon, and blend for 30 seconds.
With blender or food processor running, slowly add heavy cream.
Pour mixture into serving piece(s) and refrigerate at least 2-3 hours.
