My Nonna used to make green beans something like this.
Combine butter, garlic and thyme and set aside. Blanch green beans 4-5min or until desired softness. (I prefer them firm).
Heat Olive oil in a large skillet until smoking hot. Add beans and stir occasionally until just spotty brown. Add butter mixture and stir approx 1-3min to incorporate the flavors. Sprinkle lemon juice and serve immediately.
Experiment with cooking times. Find your preference for softness of veggies and rawness of garlic chips.
