Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Combine all ingredients and blend in a food mixer.
Refrigerate for one hour.
Turn onto a floured board and cut into 1/2" strips.
Heat one inch of oil to 350 degrees. Place strips in oil and fry till their golden brown.
Serve with hot butter, jam, honey, or powdered sugar.
