Suggest a better descriptionIn a medium to large pot, saute garlic, onion and potatoes in olive oil. Add pepper and a pinch of salt. Stir frequently. Saute a minute to two. Add 1/4 cup of Sherry wine and stir. Add beef and brown, stirring frequently. Let saute until beef is lightly browned. Add beef broth, butter, 1 tbsp of Worcestershire Sauce and 1/4 cup more of Sherry wine. Add 1/2 tsp of pepper and pinch of salt. Stir and bring to a boil. Let boil for less than a minute and simmer. Add broccoli and carrots. Simmer for 20-30 minutes. Mix in flour and frozen peas, stirring so that all flour lumps are smoothed. Let simmer for another 10-15 minutes.
