The best pie crust made is one made with LARD. This recipe makes 4 double crusts. You can make ahead and freeze
Cut the flour, salt and lard together. Add water and mix. Roll out on floured board.
Put in pie pan and do all that fancy crimping stuff you do. If you are filling it, you don't have to poke holes in the bottom, if you are pre-baking for something like a cream pie, poke holes in it.
Bake 450 degrees for about 10-15 minutes
